Risks & disclosures

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Pop Off helps creators explore and manage memecoin campaigns. We believe the money, responsibilities and risks should be clear before anyone gets involved.

Memecoins are highly speculative. Buyers can lose all the money they spend. Clear agreements, honest promotion and creator involvement do not make a token safe. Prices can change rapidly, and there may not be enough buyers or liquidity to sell when you want to—or at all.

How we get paid

Our proposed arrangement splits eligible campaign creator fees 50% to the creator and 50% to Pop Off, as agreed in writing before the campaign begins.

This is a share of the creator fees assigned to the campaign—not the token’s value, trading volume, token supply or all platform fees. There is no upfront Pop Off agency fee, and creators do not need to buy the token. Any separate professional or third-party costs are agreed in advance.

These fees come from people trading the token. The creator and Pop Off can earn fees while those traders lose money. This creates a financial incentive for us to encourage campaign activity. Our interests are therefore not necessarily the same as a token buyer’s.

Pop Off and its employees do not buy or sell client tokens for personal profit, take hidden speculative allocations or manufacture trading activity. Our compensation is the disclosed fee arrangement.

Earnings are not guaranteed

A campaign may earn little or nothing. We do not promise a particular token price, trading volume, level of attention or payout.

Examples and calculations illustrate how the fee split works; they are not forecasts. Taxes and separately agreed costs may reduce what a creator takes home.

Platform fees and rules can also change. Pump.fun’s published fee schedule expressly allows it to change fees without notice.

Risks for creators

Putting your name or content behind a token can affect your reputation and relationship with your audience, particularly when buyers lose money. Our involvement cannot remove that risk.

Ending a campaign or your agreement with Pop Off does not necessarily stop a live token from trading or remove its association with you. The campaign agreement explains your commitments, permissions and exit arrangements, including what can and cannot be reversed.

Platforms, wallets and security

Campaigns depend on third-party platforms, wallets and blockchain services. Technical failures, scams, compromised wallets or lost private keys can cause losses or interrupt access to funds. Confirmed blockchain transactions are generally irreversible, and losses may be permanent. Never share your wallet’s seed phrase or private keys.

Clear disclosures—not just this page

A creator’s financial relationship with a campaign should be clear wherever it is promoted. Relevant posts and campaign materials need their own prominent disclosures explaining paid relationships and financial incentives. A link to this page is not a substitute for disclosures alongside an endorsement.

Advice and legal protections

Our website and general explanations are not personalised investment, legal or tax advice. We can help coordinate professional support, but individual advice must come from the relevant qualified adviser.

Do not assume that a token’s availability, a creator’s involvement or a platform listing means it has regulatory approval. Legal protections vary by asset, provider and jurisdiction, and may be limited. Do not assume losses will be covered by a compensation scheme.

This page summarises key risks; it does not cover every possible outcome or replace campaign-specific documents. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
